What if we did away with political parties?

Your right , the party lines have gone off the deep end for what they were meant to really be. Then though you have to have some type of system of picking the right group of people to further the ideas of Govt for the good of all and not for greed and power as we have now for a few bought positions. Then you must be able to have a majority of the population elect and support that group with the best motives for us all. The Govt now has too many thieves and basically dishonest people in power who care nothing of the people, our country or our future. They are only there for number one and what they can take before they are impeached or arrested to thrown out. If you can put a idea or system forward that is better than what the US has now you would have the nobel prize. And if you can devise a system to get rid of the parties that these wrong people in Govt today hide behind and still have our country be the best on Earth, Im there.
