I just ran over my neighbors dogs Help!?

Long story short. Neighbors dogs come and go as they please, and usually meet up with me or him as we are getting home (run along side car). well i forgot to stop at the grocery store and instead of turing into my drive way i kept going straight..... and felt a thud thud thud. Got scared and threw dogs into the back yard. question is, what should i do? should i throw them to his front lawn at night>? burry them and pretend nothing happend, or toss them into the street?! im not too sure of how to go about this.
