Women with long uncut hair, what do you do to take care of your hair?

Any tips on how you take care of your hair? Or do you just wash it with shampoo and conditioner? The ends needing to be cut is a myth started by the hair industry. There are ways to make your hair look beautiful with out trimmed ends. I am wondering if you have found it.
