Dating question?? blind date?

I went out with my friend and her man and she set me up with one of his friends. He supposedly taught school and she was just like he is so nice. So awesome so great. Well we went to dinner and I ended up across from her boyfriend for some reason. I tried to chat with the blind date guy but he was giving me one word answers and his declaration that he pulled his clothing out of the hamper before he came here wasn't impressive. I bought a new top and pants nothing fancy mind you but it was still new and I looked cute. I decided after a while to just talk to my friend's man that was sitting across from me. Not sure how the seating arrangements worked out that way. We had so much in common in a way, we both had allergies to food and he seemed really articulate and engaged in conversation. Blind date guy talked to my friend. So after dinner blind date man walks out of the restraunt leaving the rest of us there and says good night to everyone but me. I thought that is so beyond rude that is immature and he was a man in his 40's. My question is isn't interesting how things turn out. That is not a question but an answer. Tell me about a dating situation that turned out differently.
