Remedies for illegal sublet for subtenant in Oregon?

I answered an add on CL for a room for rent about 2 months ago. Long story short, I received a text from my roommate stating that the landlord had given her a 72 HR notice to fix the problem...I was never made aware that us housesharing was not in compliance with their lease agreement. Any ideas as to what our remedies would be in this situation, as I am not looking to have an eviction on my credit history for the negligence (and partially mine too for being so trusting of people) of my roommate....
