Question about religion, world coming to an end etc.......?

So, the other day I was walking down the street and some guy handed me a little pamphlet and I read it, and it was talking about Christianity. So, it said that people should stop going to churches and become their own church, and God doesn't want people going to churches anymore. And that Earth is going to be a living HELL sometime soon, so what do you people think? Christians or not. Do all religions believe in this or just the Christians..and aren't there like 1,000,000 different kinds of Christians?
