Extending my tour in afghanistan?

I'm nearing the end of my tour in Afghanistan but I was considering extending to stay longer. If I extended to stay longer I wanted to transfer to a unit in another area of the country which still has about 6 months left in their tour. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this? Would it be as easy as filling out a 4187 or would I need to do something else? Also would I be able to transfer to a specific battalion or only to a specific brigade? Thank you.

Is it okay to give kitty her medication through food?

So i got my 3 month year old kitten from a shelter about a week and a half ago. After taking her to the vet everything came out fine, but the next day they called and said that in her stool sample they found 2 types of parasites. One can be treated with a produce called revolution which looks like a cream and looks easy to do, just gotta put it on her once a month. The other one is a little more difficult and they gave me a syringe and mecidine called Sulfadimet which i'm suppose to give to her orally once a day. I've tried so hard, got her calm and everything, but she just wont take the syringe in her mouth. I've been wrestling with her for a while now. Can I just put the required medication mixed with her food and do it that way? because she is being impossible. Thanks all

Do you get cramps, if you have an unviable pregnancy?

I've recently found out that I am pregnant, should be around 5 weeks and 5 days now, not 100% sure due to irregular periods prior to conception, actually I hadn't had a period for 3 months prior. I've been having mild cramping which I was concerned about but reading online it seems fairly normal. I've had a few days of slight queasy feeling in my stomach but no major sickness. I also have swollen and sensitive . I am concerned that due to irregular periods before that maybe this is an unviable pregnancy and was wondering if you still get pregnancy sypmtoms if this is the case. The dr has told me not too worry too much and just get an ultrasound in about 2 weeks.

How far along are you and what has your Dr said that's made you so paranoid? Your mother's experience is not necessarily what yours will be like. I weighed 1lb 3 oz at birth and was 3 months early but my son was born on his due date and weighed 7lb 15 oz. Let your doctor know that you would like to avoid a c section as much as possible and he/she will do all they can to make sure you deliver naturally. Eating healthy and keeping yourself at a healthy weight during pregnancy can certainly help as can exercise. The only thing that might decide whether you need a c-section before your even begin labor is if the baby is breech in which case there is probably nothing you can do. Avoid being induced - this can prolong labor and lead to a c-sec. I was induced and almost had to have a c-sec but thankfully my baby was born vag at the last minute!

I tested my nitrite/nitrate levels last night. Nitrite is fine at 0 but nitrate is at 80. I also tested my ammonia levels last night and they were fine. I tested my nitrite and nitrate levels this morning and the same thing. How can I bring down my nitrate levels, why is everything else okay and this not?

I just got to know from a friend that there are ways to check if a product is an original or not, specifically when purchasing branded stuff. We were buying a well known brand of shoes at one of the biggest malls-he intently checked and instantly knew if it was the original; while there were other pairs under the same brand name being sold as originals though they were not. Is there a website that lists these? How can I know if the shoes (Nike, LC, Adidas,etc.); handbags, clothes, watches, perfumes, etc are not duplicates? Im so sorry that happened. MIne was when i was in 7th grade. This was when I had hit an all time low in my life and was so depressed I started to self harm again. WhenI got to the bathroom stall I took out a poket knife and cut up my arm, one cut was just deep enough to knick a vein. I went back to cl unaware. It took about 2 mins before I started to blsck out, I rised my hand, the wrong hand. My Jacket sleeve fell down and a giant 6in long 1in deep cut showed to all the cl. I then promptly ped out. I woke up in the hospital with 12 stitches. The rest of the school year and even the next people called me "emo". they even went so far as to vandalize my locker several times. I hated junior high.

Codependency + drug addiction + depression = SUICIDE??

OK - I know i've asked questions similar to what I am asking, but I have been researching codependent behavior/tendencies & I feel like this might have played a HUGE part in my boyfriend committing suicide or why I was even dating someone who was battling & also engaging in full-blown opiate addiciton. I became an enabable & codependent to this person. He was going through recovery & said he felt like he was becoming addicted to me instead. I tried & believed I could show him a "normal" life without drugs. He was always open to doing whatever I suggested - minus certain music & movies. Anyway, that made me feel good, like I was finally being loved (yes, I must have issues?) He got back into drugs & blamed us fighting for his relapse. I worried about him constantly & became very distrustful & most likely bitchy. I felt like I always had to be responsible & act like the caretaker & this in return, made me resentful & bitter towards him. BTW - he had been struggling w/depression & drug addiction for about 10 years. We were together for 2 1/2, but long-distance, so I only saw him once every month. He also had a lot of anger towards his parents. It was recently stated that maybe he was with me because I reminded him of mother. From what I've read, the combo of addiction & codependency never ends well. I am struggling with tons of guilt & feeling like I was with him because maybe I loved the "idea" of this person, but not the person. It makes me sick that I could be like that. We never were together enough to talk about our problems, or actually, they just all seemed to be overlooked somehow & many times he said he never wanted a girlfriend, but that I just wouldn't leave him alone. I never knew what state of mind he was in, so I would almost beg him to not break up, it was cyclical. Why didn't I just listen to him & leave it alone. Neither of us were happy. He commited suicide in Feb. He had relapsed in Dec. again into IV drug use - heroin & meth.

I am overwhelmed. I am astounded how often I hear a parent being blamed, faulted, and criticized for how their adult children turn out. Earlier, I asked for help. I asked a simple question and in return, I received unsolicited reprimand. My daughter was a teen mother. She remained married to the child's father for 3 years at which time, she asked if she and her son could come and live with me. Essentially, I raised my grandson while his mother enjoyed complete freedom and the opportunity to receive her college degree. When she graduated and no longer needed a "substitute mother" for her son, my money, or my home, she left and severed the relationship between me and my cherished grandson. He has lost the memories because he has been lied to and denied the truth. I immediately received a reply suggesting that I took control, questioned her parenting, etc. So far from the truth. She did NOT parent. Why must I be blamed instead of looking to my daughter for accountability?

Well basically my ps3 broke a few years ago, i have a 3 year warranty and i send it in for repair to best buy(that's where i bought my ps3) it came back broken i sent it in again and it came back broken again, Then it finally came back fixed. On the warranty they said if i send it in for repair one more time I'll just get a new ps3. Then it finally broke again 1 year later. Fellow experienced rescuers, I have a dilemma. What do I do with these kittens?

One of my workers just found 3 kittens, approximately 4 weeks old. I currently have 6 indoor cats of my own and am fostering one that is to go to his new home in about a week. If I take these 3 cats in, it means round the clock bottle feeding, etc. We are almost maxed out time-wise as it is. There are no rescues in my area that will take them this young. If I don't take them in and leave them to fend for themselves, if they survive, they will turn wild and add to the problem. I have managed to trap/spay/neuter most of the cats that people have dumped at our place of business. There are so many out in the fields that there is no way to get them all and sometimes kittens pop up. Timing is bad. So, do I suck it up and take them home until they are weaned and healthy and then take them to the shelter or do I see what nature does? I'm so frustrated. This year we've seen so many dumped here it's unbelieveable. Please give me your kind opinions on what you would do.

I felt the complexity of their personalities. I loved it. It dragged in some parts, but I thought it was great. I'm transferring this year to a four year university from a junior college and for the past three years I have had a dependency override granted by the junior college. I am also not sure which colleges I have been accepted to yet so I'm not sure which one I will be attending in the fall. Sounds like the problem is at the hosting company or whoever handles the outbound mail/SMTP server. (Whatever "tiscali" is). They may have issues forwarding mail from mobile devices, and they also probably don't allow any smtp traffic from the IP block used by your mobile provider.
