I am 44 years old and been a taxpayer all my life. I am a citizen who obeys the law, pays his taxes in whatever guise they're in, has a full time job and cares for a disabled partner. I served in the RAF for 4 years, serving in Northern Ireland in 1983 and The Falkland Islands in 1982 but, because of 2 drunken minutes which cost me a year in prison 17 years ago, I can never, ever, sit on a jury or even get involved with anything that requires advanced disclosure. How can this be at all justified?
