Did anyone else find the film Watchmen extremely disappointing?

I felt the complexity of their personalities. I loved it. It dragged in some parts, but I thought it was great. Unfortunately, there's only so much you can fit into a movie - even if that movie is 3 hours long. My wife hates movies like Watchmen. But she actually liked it enough to not fall asleep which she ALWAYS does.
