If white features are less beneficial to survival, why are their features more desirable?

Because they say so! Just because someone dyes their hair blonde, or wear blue contacts doesn't mean that they are trying to be white. Honestly, I think black , and Hispanic people ( with tan colored skin), look good with blonde hair and blue eyes. Isn't that the look that even white people try to obtain. Plus most whites aren't natural blondes anyways.
