Affordable apartments in southern cali?

I am looking for either studios or 1 bedroom apartments in the inland empire area that are not smy. Pretty much anywhere in so. cal. works, besides san diego area. Even beachy is excellent! But i am a college student so i cant get too pricey...any help is appreciated, thanx!
