How do I get gum off my car seat? HELP!!!?

So I went out to eat last night and didn't realize that I sat in gum! GRRRR!!! I get home, get out of my car and noticed that there is gum embedded into my car seat and on the back of my capris. I have a 06 Eclipse with the sport fabric. So the fabric has little tiny holes. I tried ice but it didn't work! Please help me ASAP! Thanks bunches!
