I have tata indicom internet connection. ADSL router shows the connection is ok but web page will not open Y?

I have got tata internet connection ADSL router indicates internet connection as connected but when I open the computer I am not able to open web pages I am unable to find out route cause for this trouble will any body help me to solve this problem
